This Privacy Policy describes how Jobrith (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use:

• the Jobrith website at https://jobrith.com (the “Web App”), and
• the Jobrith Chrome extension (the “Extension”).

By creating an account, signing in, or saving jobs through the Extension, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use Jobrith.

1. Who we are

Jobrith provides a job search command center: save roles from supported career sites, track applications, and (where enabled) draft outreach messages tied to your saved jobs.

2. What the Extension does

The Extension runs in your browser and, only when you use it on supported pages (such as LinkedIn and Workday job listings):

• Reads publicly visible content on the page you are viewing (job title, company, location, description, and similar fields).
• May read public LinkedIn profile fields when you use Communicator features on a profile page you have opened.
• Sends data you choose to save to the Jobrith API associated with your account.
• Stores a login token and local preferences (theme, UI options, consent flags) in Chrome’s local storage on your device.

The Extension does not run hidden background scraping of your feed or inbox. Extraction is tied to pages you open and actions you take in the Extension.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Account information

When you register or sign in (in the Extension or Web App), we collect:

• Email address
• Password (stored only as a secure hash on our servers; the Extension does not store your password locally)
